Beer Me

Many have heard of people who have a fear of heights, a fear of public speaking and a fear of spiders – but check this one out:

Cenoscillicaphobia: Fear of an empty glass!

This gave me inspiration for a FactSnack dedicated to a liquid to fill your glass with… BEER!

Did you know the most expensive beer in the world is called Tutankhamen. It is US $52 a bottle!

Belguim is the country with the most individual brand of beers, with 400

The best selling brand in the Western Hemisphere (outside of USA) is Brahma Beer

And not only do they taste great, but they are the source of some great commercials and one-liners including one of my recent favourites “take the best day of your life and put it in your mouth” It’s brilliant.

Too Sexy for that City...

**sorry for the layout I dont know why its not cooperating**

Did you know that the highly anticipated Sex and
the City 2 movie had to change their filming location
to Morocco? Originally, it was supposed to be in Abu Dhabi
but Emirates' officials turned down the request to film on
location. Abu Dhabi is highly sensitive to plots that could
be deemed too racy and/or politically charged.

The interesting twist is the book "Sex and the City" by
Candace Bushnell can be found in bookstores all over Dubai...

Just a reminder, Sex and the City 2 premiers
May 27, 2010! Check out the trailer for a sneak peek
of what to expect.

PS: Jac a la Fac, this one is for you ;)

The Power of Madonna

Madonna + Glee = MAJOR SUCCESS! The smash hit television series Glee recently aired their Madonna themed episode and instantly starting noticing positive reactions from it. Some examples include the following:

- The episode attracted an impressive 13.5 million viewers
- The soundtrack for the episode is NUMBER ONE on iTunes
- Two other singles from the soundtrack are in the top 20
- I (who was very skeptical at first) have become a fan

and most importantly...

Series creator Ryan Murphy is already talking to Madge about a sequel for next season! It will include 6 more songs from The Material Girl's wide range of smash hits. Apparently, there is talk that fans may be able to vote online (Fox.com) to decide which songs will be featured.

**This post is dedicated to the biggest Glee fan I know. The one and only... JDub :)**
